hi all ,just thought i,d let you all know that i,m judging the classic motorcycles at the classic show at ripon on sunday i believe a 1970 interceptor is entered can,t wait to do my duty it s a hard life being a ambassador for the royal enfield owners club!!will have my r.e hat on but will not be biased unless somebody offers me a d1 bantam as a bribe only joking!!

well i did my duty at ripon today and i can tell you judging a bike show is not easy as the standard was very high ,pre 1960 class was won by a 2 stroke twin cylinder greaves road bike it was superb i forget what model-1961-1980 class was won by a rd250 lc absolutely correct in every detail best brit bike was won by a lovely A10 bsa best in show was a very nice ariel 350 in that nice maroon it was a great day and my services are booked for next year so if anybody fancies bringing an enfield do it ,pitty the 1970 interceptor didn,t turn up but you can,t win em all google ripon classic show at the racecourse.
