not sure how to add pics now

I was rather shocked to find a pic of it now , after it had been "bobbed"

The pictures don't make ME sick, as everyone has different tastes as what THEIR bike should look like.
I don't have to like it but as it's not MY bike?.
You should have left it in the back of your garage.

Hi Alan, I think it's a bit like you're watching the kids grow up and change; it still looks enjoyed and used, anyway.

If it's of interest, I used TinyPic to do your photos:

I used GOOGLE to search for "TinyPic".
Search for TinyPic and open it up.
Click on where it says CHOOSE FILE
Your pictures come up, Click on the one you want.
In the TAGS box, give the picture any name you want to. Eg My Bike File type is IMAGE... (probably showing already, so, that's fine.)

RESIZE: Click the little arrow and click on MESSAGE BOARD (640x480)

Click on UPLOAD NOW. Then wait for the security thing to come up and type whatever it says.

Click on UPLOAD NOW and wait a minute. Then, Click and Copy the (long!) code on HTML For Websites [NOT: message boards]. [br] You can now close TinyPic.
Go back to Hitchcocks noticeboard and open up New Topic as usual. Copy the code in. (The picture won't show yet, just the code. Do the other usual stuff for the notice board, like giving it a title etc.

Hope that all makes sense, it looks more complicated the first time but it really can go quite quickly. Best regards, Chris

Once we sell something we no longer have control! Up to new owner, etc, etc, no matter how we feel about their tastes. From the before photos it appears to have had a mix of Watsonian-Squire and Hitchcock accessories fitted, and they're not going to be to EVERYONE's tastes.

My lack of sympathy for the bobber bandwagon/cult as inflicted on RE Bullets is probably well-documented, but at least it looks like it's just a case of reinstating some decent mudguards and fitting a less ludicrous seat if someone wanted to give this bike same classic looks again.
