Hi Leon, I have a 1945 one of these, it was one from the last order number delivered to the War Department then returned to the factory after wars end, repainted black and then delivered to a dealer in Northern England to be sold and that is where the trail ended, how it ended up out here is unknown. Some years ago I fitted an early Indian Bullet motor in it for a mate of mine who ended up dying so it sits in the back of my shed under a tarp. One thing that did surprise me when I had it set up on my bench doing the modifications and I had it in the jig I set up was the ground clearance, it was only about 110mm, they certainly wouldn't have been much good over rough terain.
