My first yawn was at around 01:00hrs, but to be fair I've had something like 26 years of practice, sort of. I do seven days of night shifts once every four weeks, and the only difference was that this was far more enjoyable (wink), thus, even at this stage I was o.k, but I made a point of having more breaks during the hours of darkness. I had a decent break back at Wisbech, I would have had a short one at the St Neots stop, but the petrol station being closed put paid to a break for fuel, both for the bike and me, then there was the refuelling break before Aylesbury, and the actual break at the Aylesbury control itself, then a bite to eat and drink at Carterton Pavillion. Re headlight, it's the same bulb H4 60/55w, as fiited to SMLE, and my Land Rover and Triumph Daytona, and, concidering the Land Rover and Triumph have two of em', Webley's is the best out of them all. It looks like a blob of light due to the camera. A GoPro Hero 5 isn't that great in low light conditions, as as the ISO setting is not automatic, it was left on 800 iso for the whole trip. The quality tails off when on its most sensitive setting of 1200 ISO and it becomes a tad grainy. On a bright day as it was during the daylight hours I would normally have it on it's lowest ISO setting of 400 for maximum video quality. If I was picky, the headlight could do with a slight tweak to the left. Chris.
