Part 22 - Very wet day

I went out today,
with a bill I must pay,
even though it was grey,
My bullet chugged on
My visor’s a pelmet,
on open face helmet,
the rain overwhelmed it,
whilst my bullet chugged on
No longer a race,
now a leisurely pace,
the rain stinging my face,
still my bullet chugs on.
I get to the village,
my face feels quite pillaged,
twas like riding through spillage,
glad my bullet chugged on.
The bill is now paid,
but I am dismayed,
with water I’m weighed,
start my bullet and gone.
We’re now halfway home,
and I start to moan,
couldn’t pay it by phone,
my wet bullet chugs on.
Stop at the homestead,
bike into the shed,
me? Feeling half dead,
but my bullet is strong.
Tomorrow there’s sun,
bike cleaning is fun,
ready for the next run,
so my bullet chugs on.
