Hello all. Has anyone purchased the RE panniers and top box for their Himalayan? Just been quoted £875! That's a shad under a quarter of the RRP for the bike itself! How much have you been quoted/paid? At that price it rather puts me off purchasing the bike. Cheers, Chris.

Jones & Alcock. I popped into QB's this afternoon and panniers fitted, without top box are £570 odd, and hear's a thing, according to QB's, Moto GB say they don't do a top box. Givi ones have been known to be fitted and folk have been overloading them and bending the carrier. No prices yet for the front water bottle and soft bag for the other side. Chris.

I got mine fitted in with the bike from new at £500 which I was happy with and they are brilliant quality too.
The water / petrol bottles failed EU testing and are not available in the UK but I bought some trail bags online which fit really well for about £60 delivered.
I pictured it on the other Himalayan thread.

It might pay to check the bottom of the pannier on the right-hand-side for heat after a ride. It seems too close to the muffler. The bottom of my Dririder bag melted from being too close to the muffler on the Bullet, but that was a throw-over style made of a type fabric/plastic.

Certainly seems a high price for what they are but you are paying for a name, there are panniers on a certain web site from Germany that are under £250.00 per pair with fitting kit for the himalayan, I Know where I will get mine, just need a royal enfield sticker on the side and good enough.
