Aye.Watched it last year it's a repeat.He had put on the beef was overweight with a gut and didn't do very well.

Ah---didn't see it last time around------Yes, I think that's a fair assessment there Jamesy --LoL !!......It's a young person's sport and fitness is key to success.......Sorry Ross, failed on both scores there I feel...but the scenery is the real winner...However, go back to those same places in the middle of winter and it's a different story....

Yes, he was under-prepared but fair play to the guy, he finished! Obviously the SSDT is now a much harder event than it was in the 50s and 60s because it's had to move on as machines have improved but the last Section, Town Hall Brae in Fort William, used to be regarded as a mere formality by the old boys... did you see how hard it was! The size of those rocks! REspect all round!

I thought he did pretty well, considering his age and lack of fitness. He's a pretty good rider by all accounts. At least he had a go and finished.

Yep.If he was 20 years younger and 2 stone lighter he might not have fallen of the bike as much.Laughing all the way to the bank I would say.
