Just been on Royal Enfield UK site and done a "locate nearest dealer" thing. Typed in "Edinburgh" and up came a dealer in Armadale, West Lothian. However, I was unable to find anything else about this dealer when googling them. Anybody heard anything?

What was the dealers name?Remember from the 1990s a motorcycle dealer in Armadale.I think that was a Kawasaki dealership now gone.

A V Bikes is the only name that I can find that links to that address.
No website, no phone number. Very strange.

Hi Guys--------have just followed your lead and according to that drop-down menu in Gloucestershire Watsonian Squire are still a Royal Enfield agent !!...........and there's no agent here in Shropshire...( http://www.midlandsroyalenfield.com/ ).... Make of that what you will..

The building that is shown on the Google map on the RE UK dealers guide is a closed down Indian restaurant. When that business shut down the local rumour/story was that the building was going to be used as a bike shop. That was maybe 2 years ago. It would be good if we did get a new RE dealer around here.

I can think of one dealer in Scotland where I don't think you can get any more than about half a dozen bikes in there.Another also in Scotland who at one point only ever had one bullet 500 on show.I get the impression RE would be happy to share floor space with the local co op.

The Armadale dealer has now been removed from the dealer map. You have to wonder how a dealer that never existed made it on there in the first place! Jamesy, the last dealer I remember in Armadale was a Ernie Page, early 80s, Suzuki.

KC1961 That might have been the one as my memory isn't the best in old age.I used to pop in if I was working in the area and always remember a big green Kawasaki ninja alwaysthere.Was there any other dealers Bathgate apart in that area?

Jamesy, early 80s would have been way before green ninjas. Jim Allan was in Bathgate and is still there, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha at different times. C & J Wilson, Uphall were Kawasaki dealers until they closed down about 7 years ago.
