i am reading  overland to india at the moment and i can thoroughly recomend this account of travel and adventures of gordon may ,i borrowed it from 1 of our reoc members ,can,t wait to borrow the fastest indian book next ,its a great idea to share books in this way hurah for the good old fashioned book gives me something to do while resting my dodgy leg cheers john.

Glad you are enjoying the book Paul. I liked the lack of hype and the obvious pleasure that Gordon got from riding his Enfield. You'll love the Burt Monroe book, he was a quite amazing man and an incredible engineer. I think that the West Riding Lending Library branch of the REOC is a fantastic idea - long may it continue!
