During a recent visit to the emporium I collected a plus 60 thou piston for my Model A. To some that may sound unremarkable. The fact that they haven't made these for eighty years makes it entirely remarkable ! You just dont get that anywhere else.
Thank you

O Man, a Ford Model A, and O/S pistons too, Give thanxs, friend, and slaughter a lamb. One rainy night as a rocker
teenager, flicked a cigarette butt on the floor of a friend's Model A whilst cruising. Seconds later a fire ball
from the leaking gas tap under the dash. Only remorse was his lost Lucas "King of the Road headlights installed
that very day from a junk yard for a few AUSPs as car was jettisoned beside the road another teenager's folly

Does it have cast iron pistons? I think my father`s 1925 Chevrolet had them. They would be a cure for Royal Enfield piston problems these days.

Oh,Mercy! You're utterly right,Alan, caught me in time before reminiscing more on Ford Model'A's. The Ford part
lists had pistons to .080 O/S, hence the error. Leon, your Chevy 490 pistons I believe were cast iron, but with
3,6875" (93.66 mm) diameter a tad too big, Countless other elementary US makes from the twenties were still mobile
around your Brisbane in my youth. By that time allmodified to 'utes' as you well recall
