Looking at a posting about a pinched tube reminded me of the time I spend the day trying unsuccessfully trying to repair a flat tyre. It was a day I should have stayed in bed. I firstly pinched a new tube and put an un repairable cut in it. Got another tube and did the same again. Finally repaired the original tube with a patch then put the whole thing together with a tyre iron still inside the tyre. I got about ten miles from home when it went flat fast! My mate picked me up in his van and helped me remove the tyre to find he tyre iron. Needless to say he has gently mocked me for it ever since. I challenge anyone to admit to something as silly. :)

Ha I overfilled the battery on my AJS M16S when I was living in Somerset. I set off for Taunton but had to turn around when I was nearly there when I looked down and discovered the the crutch of my trousers and underpants was gone. Headed straight home and jumped into the shower as things were feeling a bit prickly!
