Looking for my old bike (1954 Trials 500)

Hi All, hope it's ok to post here. I sold my 1954 500 Trials in 2007 or so to a chap who came to collect it near Stevenage. I've never seen one quite like it and would love to know if it's around anywhere and if possible, buy it back! Who knows!? If anyone's come across it, I'd love to know. It had quite an unusual exhaust..

That looks nice. What makes you think it's a 54 bike by the way? The engine and frame certainly aren't although the gearbox could be!

DOH !!-- What am I saying ??-----------Working on the primary chain must have been tricky ? What's that pipe or cable coming over the tank ??

Thanks Chaps - The cable is the throttle. At the time I couldn't get it to run smoothly under the tank. I was told it was from 1954, and didn't know any better.

Tidy looking bike Charlie. Have you got any more details, was it road registered? Did the bloke come from Stevenage or buy it near there? The frame and engine are of a type introduced in 1956 so it's that year or later. I also have a Trials Works Replica 350 from late 1959 and I love it so I can see why you'd want it back!

Thanks for the inputs, yes, those are my videos - I miss my old Collie too!
The bike wasn't road registered, and it was me that lived near Stevenage, I can't remember where the chap came from. He and his mate must be at least 70 by now. I asked him to give me first refusal if he ever sold it, but I've moved and got a new phone etc. If I recall correctly, he answered my ad in Classic Bike magazine, maybe I could run another!
