Been riding my 2017 Bullet 500 for six months now and the ABS has been superb, Under hard braking their is no sign of wheel lock yet the bike stops in a straight line quickly, and even gentle braking around corners is now the norm. Yes RE have got it right.

It looks like RE got it right then. Some of the ABS systems on bikes I've owned cut in too early; if it's a good system it should only cut in when there is a genuine risk of skidding. I'd like the rear disc brake in preference to the drum on my 2015 bike which is little more than an ornament. It's probably too expensive to retrofit a disc brake unless I can find a bike with front-end collision damage only.
