Just a note for those north of the border - Dean Castle Country Park in Kilmarnock has a free bike show on Sunday 8th July (Ayr Classic Club) which might be worth a look, and Eglinton Park Classic Show (cars and bikes - I showed the Enfield last year) is on Sunday 15th July, the park is near Irvine and Kilwinning, £3 to show, £4 as a visitor, so cheaper to show yer bike!

hi thanks for the info,i went to the classic bike show at ayr race course recently,not as many stalls as last year, race course people wanting to much money for the hiring of the room. still had a good day met some old friends checked out some cracking bikes inside and out. probably check out the shows you mentioned. happy biking bighazz.

Doh! On duty this weekend with my daughter and grandchildren over from New Zealand. Still hopeful for the following weekend though (Eglinton) and would probably give the bike a polish and show it, which is quite good fun.

Another one for your diary is 4th and 5th August at Knockhill for the BMW Test Day - just take your helmet and license and try some BMW's on a guided road ride. You get maybe 1/2 hour on each bike you try and no big sales drive, just try the bike and book the next one. Well worth the trip.....
