Are you going to the Calne Bike Meet, the largest free bike event in Europe? Why not join the Wiltshire REOC branch at our stand in the Sainsbury car park where you can park your Enfield and receive a warm welcome. Last year was another fantastic event with fine weather and three rows of Royal Enfields of all ages and one person that travelled from Essex for the day, how far will you travel? Will you help us make it four rows of Royal Enfields this year?

Just clicked on the (red) Calne Bike Meet above, and it is there. atb, Chris

I can see no colour differential all the text looks black.

Another way, which I've just tried, is simply to Google: Calne Bike Meet.

That is a fair call, I should have added the date. It is July 29th and quoting the website, "the town starts to come to life very early in the morning for the Calne Bike Meet committee, however, for everyone else it starts around 10am. Motorcycle clubs start to arrive and set up their bikes in prime positions along with the stalls and traders setting up ready for all of you to browse and make purchases. Around 11am we start with the bands. Then at 5pm we have the ride out, planned to ride through the town and into the surrounding towns and villages of Wiltshire. The town starts to draw to a close after the ride out has gone through.

So who is coming and for those who have been before what did you think of it?

We are building up a very busy day again for the Wiltshire REOC branch and as well as running a stand to represent the Club and the Branch we have at least five of us marshalling the event too. Click on the map to find out exactly where we are on Saturday (top right list on page).

I see they have the Royal Enfield Owners Club down as "Wilts Royal Enfield bikers club" what ever that is!
