Now manged to sort out the Photobucket mess. Their system (for free accounts) now seems to try and hide the HTML code link; and the adverts they now insert around the images when the alternative direct link option is used are highly intrusive (and unwanted).

I think the problem is with photobucket. Cant upload a video there so I've tried another method.

It's time to kick the Photobucket! Awful site with the ghastly click-bait pop-ups, and now the outrageous fees, yuk!
Someone on the US forum was recommending Imgur, I have been using
www.imageupload.co.uk with no problems - so far!

Adrian - You're right. Its been a long time sine I last used Photobucket but their system really sucks now. Not only the unwanted and intrusive adverts, but the response times on their servers are very protracted.
After this debacle, will now actively look at the alternatives.
