Finally received my C5 and have finished adding all the bits and pieces.
Screen and panniers purchased from our host went on like a dream, look great and are as solid as the proverbial.
Silencer is a MotoTorque from India and has a fabulous sound. You can hear it by going onto Youtube and searching for Royal Enfield exhaust videos.
Alloy wheels from SansClassic, again in India. I still believe that spoked wheels are the best aesthetically, but running tubeless makes for an easy puncture repair on the road.

Sorry, made a muck of loading the photos. Maybe better this time. Would like to delete original posting but there doesn't seem to be a facility to delete, or even amend one's own postings.

Just something to think about for the future. A possible addition some of you might want to fit to your bike. Looks promising, but maybe it won't come to fruition.
I have been corresponding with Acewell in Taiwan to give them the information they need to develop a needle tachometer, complete with digital speedo, to replace the standard speedo on the 500 and 350. I have provided all the plug and connection details, which it appears they were unable to obtain elsewhere.
It won't include the malfunction or low fuel warning indication that is on the 500, as that would make the current gauge on the bike completely superfluous, and I couldn't see the logic behind that. It will have a trip meter though, the three lights on the current speedo, and possibly some other functions that I am not sure about.
They will also offer an electrical speed sensor that screws into the speedo drive on the hub, negating the need to fit a rotating magnet on the disc and a sensor on the fork. The speedo drive does 2 revolutions for one revolution of the wheel, so you would set the measurement on their speedometer to half the circumference of your tyre.
As far as I can understand we will have to wrap a sensor wire around the spark plug lead in order give a signal to the tachometer.
