Hello all,

If anyone has a Rickman Interceptor for sale? Or knows of one which somebody might consider selling. Can you please let me know.

Cheers

There was a project bike on offer at Kempton Park Autojumble on the 20th May but it was a real bitsa and at £7000 very optimistically priced. If you really want one you need to subscribe to the Interceptor Owners Yahoo Group. It's a personal thing obviously, but why do you want one when other Series 2 engined bikes are available at (ahem) more sensible prices?

I always really wanted an Rickman Interceptor since childhood, is the main reason, also the design of the Rickman being another. Talking about personal taste really.

I do also like series two Interceptors.

David, I have ridden a Rickman S2 as well as a standard one. I couldn't really get on with the Rickman because of the riding position but they are lovely bikes in their own way. If you are serious about acquiring one I'd join the Interceptor Group at https://beta.groups.yahoo.com/neo/group ... eptor/info and introduce yourself and keep watching! Quite a few Rickmans went to Canada where they were officially imported but there were also private imports into the US so it's worth keeping a look out on US Ebay and Craigslist.

Got it now, my fault. That is the bike that was for sale at Kempton Park. No frame number and engine and gearbox numbers unreadable. A lot of work to do and possible problems registering....
