Thanks Papa, I thought something was up when i saw people lining the bridge and embankment around Plympton..
I had to get our old spaniel to the emergency vet so missed it..
I did hear that twin chime whistle whilst in the surgery so had an idea maybe the Oliver Cromwell..
Dogs still battling on at nearly sixteen bless her.

If you Freeze - frame at 29 /29 you'll notice it's almost in mid gear, which means that the dear old 57xx is doing the lion's share of the work...
I counted 6 BR Standard Mk1 coaches in various guises, so that's approx 30 tons each = 180 tons plus the loco/tender @ 120 tons approx ? giving the Pannier a trifling 300 tons to shove uphill...
Although I'm a life-long, dedicated Churchward and GWR devotee I've plenty of time for Tornado and all that she represents...Back in the very beginning I had the opportunity to invest money in its' first share issue and didn't, to my eternal shame !!
