First time poster long time lurker from my bike cave in California.

I've been wondering for decades what bike this is. It's ridden by a Kaz Garas character in the 1960s series Strange Report on Brit TV. It sparked my lust for slow, leaky artifacts as a young guy and now I've become one myself. Any ideas?

Could be either a 16H (500cc) or a Big 4 (600cc), both sidevalves, as is obvious. Girder forks, so probably pre-war. Wish I'd kept my 19S (OHV); that had real torque and had the joint longest stroke of any Brit single, probably shared with the Panther IIRC.
