THREAD HIJACKING is still alive and well on this forum ,put on a thread about any subject and you will find some person willing to throw wood on the bonfire about something completely different where do all the HIJACKERS COME FROM ?don,t get this on other forums must be an enfield based problem?

you are joking grunda, i assure you hijacking is not an enfield based problem it happens everywhere and all the time - just ignore and carry on your conversation. Now would anyone like my recipe for strawberry jam.

Hi grunda. I've just read all the threads over all the last 3 pages and didn't spot one hijacking, I have seen jokey remarks and maybe anecdotal stories, but I cannot remember one thread where someone has completely put on a comment totally removed or totally different from the subject since I've been reading them over the last few months. You might be able to point one out, that I missed but you seem to be saying this is a very common occurrence, but I don't see that and I certainly don't see this as an Enfield owners or Hitchcocks message board problem. What do others think?

I think it's a figment of Grunda's imagination. Now does anyone know how to fit a cruise control to a Suzuki Burgman?

Don't you just hate it when someone starts talking Enfields on a strawberry jam thread! Shocking, :-) I can attest to thread hijacking happening everywhere. I once had to delete an original for sale thread I started and make another as it had spiralled into a 2 page, my grandad, dad, pet dog had one, knew someone who had one, had a funny story about going to llandudno on a model that was like this only it was newer and a completely different make etc. Anyway, about that strawberry jam recipe!

Well I think Enfield is a lovely place. If it wasn't for all those noisy motorbikes......the diesel one's are the worst :-)

Noisy Enfields? I used to have a short Lee Enfield which I "borrowed" from the air cadets when I was a kid. That made far more noise than any old parrafin burner thanks to the thousands of .303 rounds we found stashed away on Kenley airfield.

303 rounds, there's loads of them on the old firing range near me, wonder if I should collect thousands and weigh them in, might be able to afford the Uprated ignition I want for my Electra......have I wandered off-topic ??? ;-)
