Evening folks,

I've seen some fifties Bullets with copper oil pipes with brass fittings, I've always thought they looked rather good.

Does anyone have any idea where I may be able to purchase such a thing?

Not EvilBay though,...don't want Indian sprayed gold ones!

Thank you,

David

Very easy to make, most hydralic/fluid engineering firms supply all the various junctions, Rotherhams nuts and banjo's etc. Generally though all the copper pipes were chrome plated as they soon go dull.

The standard pipe is copper I believe. Just a question of getting the plating(?) off.

The standard pipe is copper, if you wanted you could buy a cheap fitting from your favourite evil bay supplier, unsolder the banjos etc and reuse with brake pipe, which is slightly larger than standard you will probably need to redrill the fittings to make up your own design, afterwards polish and then spray with HT Hycote clear finish. Although our hosts probably sell the parts necessary to make up your own.
