I have been a Royal Enfield owner for eleven years now, I have a 2003 '65 in trials trim & a recently acquired newly restored 1991 350. I have three other British classics too.

I am looking for a 1950's style dateless number to put on my 350, I agree that the newspapers (& the internet) are full of dealers offering numbers that couldn't possibly mean anything to anyone...Y's X's & U's etc at massive prices (which I doubt the rarely achieve).

I am not willing to pay those ridiculous amounts, but if anyone say has a 3 + 3 dateless number that they'd like to sell, I would happily give them a 'fair' price.

I'd even pay the £105 fee should someone want to take off an existing bike and have DVLA issue an age related non transferable number. On a retention certificate would be simpler though.

Number can be the least likely set of initials ever, just want a dateless number for that 1950's look.

Simple as that Bryan...no hidden agenda's.

Knowing little about football & even less about its' supporters BLACKANDWHITEARMY meant nothing to me in that context. But being a suspicious old sod who has no time for number plate robbers Black and White as number plates does.

Yes, and I thought it meant "black and white army plate" as in a black and white plate as used by the army!
