That's a good point, it might have been two years ago, in which case Moo did a good job getting a card depicting a bike I was going to name 'Chocco' due to the colour!

Yep, that's it, 1954 Meteor. It has the Casquette but also the earlier gearbox cover. All 3 years of production (1953-55) had some fairly large change to either frame, cycle parts, ignition or gearbox so identifying each year is pretty straightforward. The centre stand is not as fitted by RE but otherwise the artist has done an unusually good job!

And we all know about the original cast Redditch 'stand' ( or 'slouch' or even 'fall over' ). Regrettably, I even had to change Kevin's for our hosts Indian stand kit which works brilliantly.

The stand is a really odd decision, up to 1953 they used a conventional looking steel stand which works fine and seems perfectly solid (I have one somewhere,) although it also lacks a proper "toe-finder" bracket. My pal has made a BMW roll-on type stand fit his Connie and it works really well. The Indian type is good too, I've fitted one to the Ebay Bullet and it works a treat although I'm having difficulty making the spring stay on. Some welding required!

I've got one identical to that. It looked a bit lost in the garage, so I blu-tacked it to the kitchen wall.

I assume you meant that you blu-tacked a card to the wall and not a centre stand?

On a more serious note, I'd love to find the location of the picture and recreate the scene using my bullet. Or lots of bullets/ REs if anyone else fancies it!!
