Scaleyback & Tornado gatecrash the VMCC Alyesford Friday run 2016

I was only going shopping, honest, but all these vintage bikes kept going past the house. Sod the shopping, we followed them instead. There were guys at every junction showing the way to go and waving us on. Finally, my bike and I were getting the treatment that I thought we deserved!



We had a nice trip for a few miles, passing a few unfortunate bikes that had had enough and were being pampered with spanners in an attempt to get them to run again.


We ended up being waved into a pub parking area, and having parked, it was time to get the camera out. Enjoy the video.

Thanks for posting Scaley, I thought I recognised that pub. Any idea if the Saturday run goes there as well (I am sure there is a saturday run from memory)?

They did mention a Saturday run, but I have no idea if it is the same route of not.

Yes, I think they keep it a bit secret. Probably to stop us random enfield owners from joining in.

Well, they don't want to be running it past my front door then!

As far as I am aware this event is so popular the numbers on the ride outs have to be limited to enable them to have permission to run it
