Following on from exercise Griffin, the joint Anglo-French exercise in the uk, We now have the air and ground co-operation exercise here at Valdahon barracks and training area.

We have the French, Danish, German and American airforces flying overhead, whilst the ground forces are also doing their bit.

I worked solid for days and am knackered, so no vid except for the Sunday classic cars that I stuck up earlier.

The Luftwaffe used to do fly-overs in the 1940`s. Apparently, it was not popular.

The old 'G.I. Jeep'? I except so, but there is way to much stuff to be sure, and I don't have access to the equipt. lists. There were so many planes in the sky a couple of days ago, you could almost walk from one side of the sky to the other!

Had a nice memory lane three days ago, trimming a wire for the correct length for a HF transmitter. Takes me back to 'Clansman" days (Bastard heavy things!)

It's an RAF Boeing C17 Globemaster out of Brize Norton using the old Greenham runway as a waymarker.

I know it's not a C5 Starlifter because they nearly took the roof off for Gulf.1 when Greenham was still operational.
