I am not abandoning my Electra
But I have just been told about a 2002 bonneville with less than 5500 on the clock
What sort of money would I be looking at to purchase it
Thanks people,I await some ideas

I have had 4 Hinckley Bonnies - a 790, a Thruxton, an EFI mag 2009 and the current, a 2008 carb T100 which is low mileage and cost me £6k last year. The late model 865cc carb bonnies are very desirable, all issues sorted, and low mileage ones very difficult to come by. The one you have been steered to is a 790cc and is lower in power and had a few niggles that came with earlier machines. That said, a classic now, and 3500 is a fair price. I have also had 4 Bullets, currently owning a Leanburn 2008 that has been whipped into a fast road bike, and the favourite, a late 2008 classic iron barrel 4 speed. The T100 hardly gets used, as I prefer Enfields, but the T100 is a cracking bike, taken it to the Isle of Man, and it goes very well with the carbs. However it is hardly used and I may sell it, with just 3600 on the clock. To answer your question, look for a later model 865cc carb Bonnie is my suggestion as it will take you anywhere, in comfort and at speed.
