Hi, I live near Jedburgh and wondered if there are any other RE owners in my area. I've recently bought a 500cc 2013 Bullet Electra EFi trials with a registered 1000 miles. When I took delivery the electrics were not great but with the help of Andy at Border bikes in Duns everything is now as it should have been. If there are other RE owners close by, please get in touch.

Good to hear from you. Yes, mine is an original Watsonian Squire trials conversion and when cleaning the silencer I noticed an embossed message (not for road use....) So, if mine is not running I'll probably hear you - but if mine is fired up - no chance. If you through this was give me a shout Jed 869918.

Ah, if only you had been around on 11th May when the Velo borders tour stopped for lunch in Selkirk; and the year before, in Duns, Chirnside and Hawick. Dont worry, we will be back next year. A couple of us were on Bullets because, in my case anyway, the pre war Velo MSS was awaiting a new mag. They are out there - Enfield owners - but quite rare, even here in Glasgow.
