Finally, with the job complete, we get to see the trafficators complete with their covers, wired and working.

Scaley,

is that a right hand dip headlamp unit for use on French roads? Hope so!

And did you speed up "Also Sprach Zarathustra" a little, by any chance? The tympani sounded like bongos! Getting visions of black monoliths with trafficators, surrounded by SERIOUSLY confused chimpanzees....

Why, thanks Les. I always knew that Kevin was unique, but now that is visible to others!?

It is a Lucas 700, but an actual motor cycle version (says so on it) I think it is a straight cut off, symmetrically, unless others know any different?

Hi Adrian,

the tune was a little speeded up, but fitted the action which was filmed first.

The words "Motor Cycle" embossed at the top of the Lucas lens mean it is centre dip, ie, no bias to left or right. These lenses are a nice restorer's detail but don't expect anyone to notice (except us, obvs!)

Amazing job Simon!
Five Kent REOC members are riding down to the French rally on the Swiss border (Colmar) next week. As it's just up the road from you are we likely to see you & your 'magic lantern show'

176 Km?

Kevin is a museum piece, he's not going slogging for hours unless I get the timing chains adjusted correctly this time. Would be nice to meet though.

It a long way on my own if I get a problem...
