Had a set on my 94 bullet but took them off clamps were puting a dent in downtube, also did not like the bottom bolt up fitting a good kick would move them. Did not consider them too safe as in a spill could trap a leg against a hot engine.my two bobs worth.

I seem to remember not too long ago someone with that style of crash bars having his front mudguard getting trappet by the bottom fixings upon breaking and locking the steering, fetching them off. Does your front guard hit the fixings? I know my front guard hits the exhaust on my Sixty5 if I put the brake on with the forks turned a little! ( standard guard and exhaust pipe!)

Nope. Loads of clearance... could drive a bus through the gap.. (Hope no-one in a bus tries...!!)
