hi I see by peoples posts that there are a good number of people, very knowledgable about enfield motorcycles, its just a wee query I know they made twin cylinder bikes one of the guys that ran about with us had a think it was called a huntsmaster, why and when did enfield stop making these type of bikes.

The Huntmaster twin and Redhunter single were built by Ariel. RE twins were Constelations and Meteors.

The 750 Interceptor twins were the last big bikes the UK Royal Enfield company made, up until '69/70, some years after the Bullet went out of production. The final version was the Series 2 Interceptor with Norton forks.

The Indians kept building the old-style classic 350 Bullet until 2010 or thereabouts (thenabouts?) before the UCE models took over completely. The last 500cc classic Bullets and 500cc AVL bikes were built for the USA in 2009.

Hi fishermanferg, here is a short vid showing my 1959 meteor Minor De Luxe, being ridden by Chris the mechanic.

You can see the family similarities (Bike not chris).
