Many of us took their first step in engineering as children. This is one of the better quality products from back then.Mecc & Ano present - Hank of cord winder.

Aaagh! How many cranes did I build with that stuff? Never saw the plans for the winder, though. Remember the upgrade kits to the next level? The transition from leaded paint to non-lead paint?



AFAIK Meccano is still made (or was until very recently) in a factory in Calais, with the original machinery from the Liverpool factory.
