Just saw mention of Yahoo RE Group saw decide to take a look. My word! What a complicated process. Finally got on to it only to find it quite dull and un-inviting compared to good old Hitchcock's.

Hi Reg, there's quite a lively Facebook group 'Royal Enfield Owners UK' (just put that phrase into 'Find Friends' at the top of your home page). We are an inclusive friendly bunch of mostly Bullet enthusiasts and have lots of interesting RE things to share including vids about the history of RE and photos etc from all round the world including the UK. Hope to see you there . . .

There are several Yahoo Groups, one for Crusaders, one for Interceptors, the UK based Bulletmania and an American site so I'm not sure which one you're talking about. I do find the American one dull as well, it's almost as if no-one on the site speaks English as a first language which makes it quite hard work. Bulletmania seems dead recently which is a shame as it was good for a while. Fashion means people move on, although I don't really know why, both Facebook and Twitter seem very shallow to me and don't really add anything a bulletin board like this one doesn't have, except perhaps to make it easier to post photos!

Thanks lads, truth is I can't get my head around Facebook. I've tried a couple of times only to be hassled by folk I've never heard of,trying to be my "friend". I realise I could be missing out on some good things, but life's too short to get enmeshed in stuff you don't understand. Now, where did I put my bus pass.

Reg, I would rather excrete a porcupine backwards than use Farcebook or Twatter.

They don't speak English, they speak American on that forum.

No idea why it didn't work (unless maybe it's because I'm in France?), anyway, no worries, found it now with a google search.
