[1950s Bulleteer]

I've been absent from here for a while as I haven’t been doing much riding. There's nothing wrong with my bike; it runs beautifully with the Hitchcock's 612 conversion but the vibrations are just too much for my old bones these days. The answer is simple; if somewhat costly... fit a 350cc engine, luckily Hitchcocks had a 350 engine for sale which they have done a splendid job of fully re-conditioning for me and I'll be going to have them fit it for me quite soon. I'll be back with videos and photos when that is done.

I hope the 350 engine lives up to its promise. Meanwhile, as I'm sure others will be wondering, what are your plans for the 612 engine? Jealously guarded family heirloom? A.

I may well be selling it, Adrian, but haven't quite decided yet. On the other hand it would look good polished up and put on a cherrywood plinth in the flat somewhere.
