Hi Guys,
I've not been on line for some time - work just gets in the way far too much - but I've just got a small query that somebody may be able to help me with. I hope that our hosts do not take offence with me asking about Paul on this forum but I have been a reasonably regular customer of theirs over the past few years and living in Perth, Western Australia rather limits who else that I can turn to.

As I'm sure most know, Paul is a good supplier of many of those 'bike and car electrical bits and pieces that can be hard to find elsewhere and like many I've also bought various bits from him over recent years. I've after some genuine Lucas bits that our hosts do not stock and are generally 'silly' prices if you can find then here in Oz. Starting in mid January I've sent him three or four three emails to check p & p prices etc., but I've had no response at all.

I finally tried to ring him a couple of times late on Monday evening Oz time, [you're about 8 hours behind us] and was first told that the number was 'discontinued', then it was 'unavailable'. I am well used to ringing family members in the the U.K., international dialing prefixes etc., and cannot understand it.

Does anybody know what's going on here?

Cheers,

Ray Warren [2013 R.E. G5]

The website is as usual and his adverts are in recent bike mags - http://www.norbsa02.freeuk.com/
A good alternative for stuff not available from our host is Pete at http://www.dynamoregulatorconversions.com/

Hi Trev, many thanks for your help. As you say, the website is still up and running so look forward to hearing how you get on with 'phoning him at a more 'godly' hour.

Cheers, R.

Hi Beezabran, Thanks also for your input in this. As you say, his ads are still in recent mags - but thanks also for the other link that you included as well.

Cheers, R

I subscribe to the Ausie classic magazine Old Bike, and I'm sure I've seen ads for Paul Goff in there.

Hi Guys,
Many thanks to you all for your efforts in checking this out for me for me. I too thought that it was strange as I have also seen his ad's recently in the bike mags, but couldn't understand why no replies to three emails - and then the 'phone problem. I'm going to recheck his 'phone number this evening [it's 7.30 a.m.Wed. here now] and make sure that I got the international dialing codes right as well. [All I'm after is his p&p price for four genuine Lucas orange plastic indicator lenses!!!]
Thanks again.
R.
