Scaley's year
It's been a great year for me with mixed RE things. Obtaining Kevin, the Meteor Minor was great. He replaced Thunderbolt, my Woodsman EFI and first RE. It was not a sale of choice, but due to differing countries' laws and things.

Anyway, my last movie for 2015 is a tribute to Thunderbolt, My Woodsman.

Thats a cracking looking Enfield, I always end up selling the bikes I liked the most, I don't under stand how "Kevin" is different to "ThunderBolt" being both UK registered. I'm thinking of moving to the French/Swiss border region and I'm hoping to be able to keep car and bike there.

hereby the donkeys tail doth hang!

Thunderbolt was a British creation by Watsonian. As such it made it virtually impossible to have him registered in France. This means that after three years he would need to be transported to England and back for an MOT with a variant back transport cost of approximately 1200 quid per year.

Kevin was constructive before 1960, this means he is MOT exempt. I will of course keep him in excellent condition it just means I don't need to take into England every year.
