Hi,

Royal Enfields were a bit thin on the ground at the (free) Vintage/Classic meeting in Romsey this morning, besides my AVL/Connie hybrid I counted a solitary 2007 Electra-X with black amd chrome tank. If the owner of this bike reads this, sorry I missed having a chat with you. Did anyone else here turn up later?

from the EFI collection; a Continental, a Woodsman an Electra and a Bullet and from the carbed modesl a dark green Meteor with an electric start conversion and a Faired Continental 250GT.

Merry Christmas all.

The green one could possibly be a Bill Saltau electric start conversion?

Yep, that's Bill Soltau's old SM now owned by my mate Bob. He is just recovering from a serious accident on his Crusader Sports (car driver, too fast, failed to take corner, wiped Bob out) which left him with a broken pelvis and leg among other injuries. This is one of his first outings on a bike! He also sent me a pic from that same meet of a sidecar outfit with the perfect passenger, an anvil!

It is nice to hear that Bob is ok, how is the Crusader Sports?
