Getting ready for Christmas
The decorations are almost finished, now there's just a few packages from Mr. H (and others) to wrap for the big day.
What are you doing for xmas?

Nice one Scaly. Well I won't be decorating my bullet but with the days off i hope to fix a slow puncture, replace the speedo bulb, adjust the chain, replace a back tyre, grease the brake cams, adjust the tappets oh and give it a good clean. I will continue to ignore a slight silencer blow and a minor head gasket leak. Feels like winter number 9 is taking it's toll.

Nice

... but I think wife prefers to decorate a tree.
Shed has been visited. Annoying rattle fixed, the exhaust clamp bolt was striking the brake lever; exhaust to head clamp tightened, again (possible leaky=popping spot, copper washer). Rim Wax brings any chrome up nice. Parcel from H ordered yesterday afternoon received this morning, gosh that was quick.

I promised not only to maintain Kevin's finish, but also to carry on getting him back to a meteor minor de luxe, albeit with trafficators.
Bike needs so much attention, just swapped 250 main jet for 230 (petrol and altitude differences) will probably not have time to ride until well into new year, even if it is sunny and warm here. Bugger.

Here's Emilie from Paris, visiting the South Lancashire meeting place, the Birch Hotel. Bike worked fine, but now appears to have a flat battery, which is being charged right now; hope that's all that's wrong! And, I'll be putting a thin layer of Waxoyl on anything that even LOOKS LIKE it might go rusty during winter use. That's been my favourite potion over the years.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

I'm going to be travelling to Paris tomorrow (Xmas day). I'll keep an eye out.
