Scaley's xmas read
Well, I just got it, and even I have not read it yet! It was February 1958 and in readiness for the introduction of the Meteor Minor, which was the replacement for the 500 Twin, The MotorCyle produced an article titled "Three High Performance Twins" which dealt with the (sod it, I got to go read it now...) Constellation 700, plus the Meteor Minor standard and de luxe models. The new feature on these was a new type of heavy duty clutch , now known as the "sissors" type, which all three models wore. Royal Enfield reprinted this article, probably by way of a sales gimmick.
