35 views and no comments. Is the bike really that bad?

Papasmurf, interesting style - like the upturned silencer but am not sure how practical the mirrors are - do tell! I like the saddle - very narrow at the front to aid shorties. What is its source and how comfortable is it?
Cheers, ChrisD
PS: I find the pages of the slide show are too slow to load, lots of waiting there, and too fast to view - suggest post images separately next time.

Love the flap on the silencer. To keep water out?
Just one niggle, the front mudguard doesn't look quite concentric with the tyre - pet hate of mine.

19 inch wheels, shod with the same Continental Twinduro 100/90 19 knobblies that are fitted to the front wheels of BMW trailies.

Ideal for the potholes and the odd bit of Tarmac that are laughingly called roads on the Lizard peninsula.

The seat was made by me except for the upholstering which cost me a whole £25 with the upholsterer using an old pair of motorcycling leather trousers of mine.

The rain flap is normally fitted to tractors and static plant engines.

The mirrors are OK but I may fits our hosts mirror stem wideners.

That is usual anywhere on the internet forums Papasmurf.

I did that proud war record, got 6-7 unique replies (not including my replying to replies),

Had 374 views, admittedly it was posted elsewhere, but also had 892 downloads of the book so far.

I am the same, in so much as I read and enjoy many posts on forums but do not reply much the time. (a bit more on here as I like Enfields)

Asking for help usually gets many replies, but posting photos or an article or similar which do not pose a question, tend to get less comments.

It is just the way these things go. I am always grateful for advice and help with my RE's, but it is especially nice to have a reply when just posting something that i think others will find interesting. (Thanks guys, those comments are always nice to see, makes me think that people actually read my stuff, and that makes it all worthwhile!)

Anyway, nice bike, had no idea you were into that gothic look. The mirrors are a nice touch!

Neat, I like it. Perfectly adapted for it's role by the sound of it! The flap on the end of the silencer is called a chicken according to a tractor fan friend of mine, when you see them popping up and down in use you can see why!
