Come on smiffy r spill all please.where to stay how to get tickets etc, etc. I hope to be traveling with other bikers. Not many on R E's. Using the main roads RN. Not Auto routes.if anyone wants to come along feel welcome.
The only thing is I do NOT intend camping.

The French RE forum also has their annual rally from 5th to 8th May this year down in Burgundy, just a bit further south from Dijon in the village of Bourguignon d'Arcenant between Nuits St Georges and Beaune, I wonder what what the booze of choice will be?

Hi Mick, I went this year with two friends on Enfield Bullets taking back roads and staying in motels at Chatres, Hotel Resto Novo and then Dijon, Hotel Premier, 6 Rue Des Ardennes. It meant we could pack lighter and someone else washed up. The journey was spectacular and the event was everything and more than I could have hoped for, with bike parades, stalls for food and spares and a carnival atmosphere where everyone and everything mingled together. We bought our tickets which cost 16 pounds and 77 pence and they posted three orange wrist bands that get you into the circuit without queueing. Try this site for the announcement for the tickets and the event buildup
