after several years chewing through these incredibly cheap Pirelli MT60 universal tread tyres getting through them every 3-4000 miles on the back wheel (they are supposed to be front tyres) and feeling that they were really pretty good at the job other than being a bit fast wearing I finally bit the bullet (no pun intended) and put a new TT100 on the back. Bugger me if it doesn't transform the handling of the bike! I still have the MT60 on the front but now the bike goes round corners like its on rails. Still $180+ rather than the $2.50 I paid for the universals means that I'd want a substantial improvement.

I put the TT100s on. Much better grip and cornering. As you say, bike transformed!

I replaced the Conti-mentals on my tiger 90 with Dunlop K82's. These have the TT100 tread pattern but are a slightly harder compound than the original K81 TT100 which used to wear in a couple of thousand miles if one was careful.

...bloomin' no edit facility! Superb tyres IMHO and far, far superior to the cheap 'n' very nasty square profile Skidmaster.

Yes another Vote for the TT100,Classic Looks but Modern enough, and Enough Tread Bite for Gravel roads of accidental Green Laneing.. Just put One on the Back of My AVL 350 (Still has Ribbed front) and Its like a New Bike..Funny how I forgot,,"Hey I can Lean into Bends" and no ill effect with the Ribbed Front either,,,In daily use on my Std I got over 12000 miles out of a Pair too,,Cheers All.
