I managed to complete the Beamish again this year.

It really is a grand day out and is more a cross country ride than a trial proper.

Hose down for the Cub Scaly, rub down for me!!
The engine is making horrible noises as well, rebuild time methinks.

Somehow you found yourself riding the narrow grass ridge between two deep tyre gullies.. As you say oops..
I think you did well at Haggs bank, Shame the old Bsa spoiled your line of attack but maybe it forced you to take a more considered approach and dampened the adrenaline fuelled, Gung ho rush which dismounted more than a few.. All in all, well done Pete and thanks for bringing a breath of fresh Yorkshire air to the forum..
