Have a great trip Paul - you must have had to strain a lot of chip oil through your lasses tights to get enough fuel for this one! No doubt you'll tell us all about it at Thursday's West Riding REOC Branch meeting. I'll lend you the new Gordon May book which I bought at Stafford because I know that you, at least, return books!
Have fun

Hi Noel - Isle of Wight with 45 kids is where I have been! That's why the weather was so good because I was nowhere near my bike - Sods Law! I'm back to whatever passes for normality now, so I will be there on Thursday. See you then.

HI CHAPS yes i did the 3 junctions of the M25 carpark on friday got into the fast lane you guessed it, it was the usual carpark for 3 junctions filtering like a king on the diesel!!!ran the bike flat out for around 7 hours approx 250 miles i had a FEW stops the bike returned around 130 mpg ringing its neck!!came home today did M25 AGAIN from j10 to the A1 IN THE PERSISTANT RAIN!!it rained all the way from west sussex to south yorkshire ,THE BIG KNOCK RALLY WAS EXCELLENT plenty of diesel bikes with some great engines the harley with the v twin diesel was great why fit a diesel in a harley? because the 1340 lump commited suicide, loads of enfields with yanmar clone engines ,ruggerini twins lombardini twins, axiam 500 cc kubota engined bikes smart car 3 cylinder diesel engine bikes, dneprs bespoke german bikes that looked like g.s bmw,s with 3 cylinder diesels fitted super dreams with diesel engines on the whole a great weekend with over 500 miles covered all by diesel power highlight going through the A1 tunnel at stevenage with my straight through pipe resonating GRRRREAT! REMEMEBER DIESEL POWER YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE have a reliable enfield with no carb, electronic ignition, coil troubles and parts are cheap as chips e.g flywheel main bearing £15.00 skf !!
