What a welcome!
Cheers peeps. Specially you Paul for posting my image for me.
It's a lovely bike I must agree, and a very different animal to my learner bike (Yamaha TW125) and the Kawasaki I did my DAS on. So far it's taken me to work (only 4 miles I not Brighton town) a few times and riding it in traffic is 'different' to the bikes mentioned earlier, the brakes are......interesting! I have attempted to adjust the front brake and I think it's improved.
So far on my voyage of discovery I have:
1.changed the oil and filter.
2..adjusted front break
3. Fitted new earth lead
4. Insulated the battery cover with a slither of an old inner tube to stop the battery shorting out.
5. Looked at it quite a lot
6, polished the shiny bits
7, ignored the really greasy bits
8, eradicated an oil leak somewhere near the engine head by positioning the oil filler cap on the first position (controversial?
9, done about 60 miles
So there you go, early days and not quite an expert but lovin it..
Cheers
Craig
Ps. Anyone coming to the Brighton burn up on the 13th September?
