Well today was my classic bike gathering in Leicestershire. I normally arrange 2 per year and the next one will probably be in September. To Alan and all the other "Hitchcock" boys I would like to thank you for coming along and joining in the jollity. I hope that you all had as much fun as I did today. You all helped to make a good day into a fabulous one. Thank you again for coming. Thank you for bringing your bikes and I sincerely hope that you will all come and jopin us again in September, and that those that couldn't make it will also join us in September. You can see a selection of photo's on the Real Classic website message board. www.realclassic.co.uk then simply click on the "Messages£ button and find the thread for MadMikes day. I hope you enjoy the photos and thanks once again.

Hi MIKE }----------- our pleasure, matey !! It's a pity that Tim with his 1938 Enfield had to pass on to days activities but a broken magneto drive during last week's riding has yet to be repaired. Meanwhile the other missing player----our Myles and his 1965 BSA Ex-WD B40 + trailer had gone straight on to the BSA "do" yesterday. After a lovely stop at The Bulls Head we made our way over to the Battle Line Steam Railway at Shackerstone Station for cream cakes and tea--yummy!!& a fat tummy. Will put that Sept. date in our diary. Be seeing you---------Alan R

Wotcha.

Mike - thanks for an excellent day. Always nice to see different machines and meet new folks . . . and the odd "old faces" too ;-)
Like Alan said - it was a cuppa and a slice of cake time on the way home.

Roll on the next one.
Oh - the piccies look something like this........

To add to what has been wrtiten elsewhere them as did not venture into rural Leicestershire missed out on a good event. I'm only sorry that by the time me & 'Er on t' Pillion had found food & drink (we were starving hungry) the Enfields were about to depart. Come September we will be back and this time with the infamous Bullet 500 rather than the Flash & a Box. To see more pics & words go to http://www.realclassic.co.uk/messageswide.html
