I have been fascinated with Electric Bikes for some time now, but didn't think I would find this. http://www.evalbum.com/5079

If you look up the word 'Fail' in the Dictionary. You'll find a picture of this bike next to it.

Very interesting, but I must admit to getting a bit peed off with the Electric Vehicle Lobby. I fully understand the benefits of cleaner air in crowded cities where people want or need to travel independently and not rely upon a creaky public transport system that rarely gets you exactly where you want to be but, you don’t get owt for nowt. Somewhere far, far away from the EV Luvvies’ homes is maybe a coal fired power station chucking out filth and polluting our green and pleasant planet, or maybe a nuclear plant storing God knows what challenges for future generations. I was pleased to read recently that more research is being made into tidal power generation, no pollution whatsoever and as long as the moon puts in an appearance on a regular basis an endless supply of electricity is there to charge your batteries. All we will then need is battery powered lighting and domestic appliances and they can’t be far away when you see what can be done with a fully charged 18 volt percussion drill these days. Rant over.
