I am beginning to think that Sid is going to obtain his goals. I am impressed by the paint job, looks really cool!

Effectively a limited edition paint job with a few urban retro chic/hipster accessories thrown in! No pannier frames or bags though, which might have been more useful. If I had bought one with that pile of stuff, what would I be supposed to do with the white plastic head?



Answers on a postcard please.



Sorry to sound a bit -ve, Scaly, but I smell marketing hype. We wish RE well, but I'm open to being a bit more impressed. Where's the twin got to? That's all gone very quiet of late.

If you want to paint your own bike this is how to do it

I used to have a kit to do it at home, it was like oil paint and it sat on the water, few colours, gentle stir with a stick to get patten, then drop paper sheet on top and hey presto!



Never tried it with a wheel!

Towards the end of the video it shows some motorcycle tanks being painted, they normally finish off with a coat of lacquer

I have a sneaking suspicion that RE did it to the tanks above. They did say something about a film system for painting, and that no two would be exactly the same. (Which also holds good for every bullet they have ever made ! LOL)

My colour text has resumed after a period of maintenance.
