Be prepared for loads of unknowing people, mostly non Enfielders, but not always! insisting that you have fitted the front mudguard the wrong way round. REgards Dick.

Caboose, I love "know it all" motorcycle "experts." I had one tell me you can't fit a 5 inch wide x16inch tyre on the back wheel of a CX500 Custom. Despite the fact he was stood there looking at it.
I just let him suffer, because the fact is you can't. (Unless you slacken off the three bolts on the final drive to get the wheel in and out.)

Unfortunately, the guy in Gravesend's Meteor was 5 months too young, overwise I would have had it like a shot!



This one lives in Somerset, but I went to school in Devon, so we should 'get on' ok.

I meant the guy that owns it is called Mike!

Glad you found one of 'the right age' Hope we get to see it at a future club night.
