I had no idea how much fun you could have with 29hp until I took my GT out on the Anglesey Circuit at the recent Thunderfest Event, I used the Enfield on the Sunday in order to give my 69 Bonny a rest.
With the help of the 40t back sprocket. Motad Pipe and K&N Filter it was pulling 6k on the back straight, and on the nice smooth track the ride was fantastic, cant wait to get it on track again, and really looking forward to Jurby at the Classic TT.

How do you get it to rev to 6K? The rev limiter cuts in on mine at around about 5250. Can you increase the limit through the power commander?

You are probably correct, the needle was bouncing around so much I knew it was between 5 & 6 but I did keep hitting the rev. limiter

been wanting to take mine on track since I got it, but my experience of 'normal' track days is that it would be too slow, and cause hell for other riders. I recall well the shock of coming across a tz125 doing 80-90 down the pit straight at Mallory when I was on my ZXR400 doing about 120! Especially when it was 2nd January, and there was still ice in the paddock...
I'm saving my pennies for cams and valves first, plus a lithium battery.
You mentioned your bonnie and 'thunderfest'. Does that imply the existence of open trackdays for people who don't own a modern superbike?

Guys - it won't do 6,000! I've tried mine out and it just hits the rev limiter - which is there of course for a reason. It will however happily cruise at 4,000.
